Ensemble "Volny Don" is a bright and colourful group,
which became very popular not only in Rostov Region. It was applauded
not only by Don spectators, but also on Kuban, the Ukraine and the
North Caucasus. In the program of "Volny Don" dances and
songs are connected together, so that the sound becomes deeper and
brighter, showing the feature of Don's culture better.
The performances of the ensemble were shown to German, Polish, Bulgarian,
French and Italian audience.
Ensemble "Volny Don" can perform both in a complete set
(45 persons) and in parts (35 or 25 persons). In the program of
the ensemble there are songs and dances of Don cossacks, musical-dance
compositions.
"Volny Don" has attributes of Don cossacks at its disposal:
lances, blades, bunchucks, historical banners, costumes of the 18-th,
19-th, 20-th centuries.
